Show line numbers in Java Eclipse – Kepler Version
Right-Click in the console pane and at the bottom select preferences.
On the left side expand General >> select Editors >> Text Editors. You will see “Show line numbers”, check it and hit apply.

What ??? I dont know what you mean by console pane… do you want to say “Window->Preferences” instead ?
I haven’t used Eclipse in a while. In the right-side of the screen in the area where you write your file is what i am calling the console pane. Right where my screen shot shows “1. Right-Click here”.
